The hit Snobs, shown on Devil Ray Television, has been renewed for a second season, according to producer Czartim of But Alas Productions. The show may become an hour long, but the final decision has not been made yet. The cast, including stars Mila Kunis and Jesse Eisenberg, plus the basic premise of the show would remain the same. However, the setting would be different.
“The show has always been about the characters” explained Czartim. “When the season ends, so will the story arc. This means newcomers can watch it and not feel like they’re missing out.”
Also, an HTG version of the HBO series In Treatment has been picked up by DRTV. Ten episodes are planned currently for the first season.
“Obviously, the format will need to be changed since the show can’t air daily. But the fundamentals of the show will remain intact.”
Mary Louise Parker, who recently guested on Men of Massachusetts, has already signed on to star.
