With the absence of a television producer, what can an HTG TV network chief do? If you’re Lucian Carter of Rogue Net, you fill in the empty time by producing shows yourself. With that, DC Comics superhero Firestorm is coming to the small screen.
In the live action film, Ronnie Raymond (Will Bowes) is attending college on a wrestling scholarship. Instead of taking easy courses, he signs up for Advanced Physics, taught by Nobel Prize-winning Martin Stein (Ben Stein). Little do the two know that something will bring them closer together than they could ever expect. Also in the cast are Brittany Underwood, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Ed Westwick. Among guest stars during the two hour-long episodes are Avery Brooks and Brandon Routh.
“Sometimes when you run a network, you have to put in that extra effort” explained a Rogue Net staff member. “Lucian’s going to do what it takes to put the network at the top of the ratings.”
A time has not been given yet on the Firestorm opening. A film based on the character has been proposed.
