Studio Goes to New Format With Superhero Franchise
Summer will be here before we know it. Plans are being made by studios for another busy season. Leading the way is the Flip Brothers Studio, with hopes of dominating the box office with their line-up of superhero adaptations.
“I think that people will be amazed at the number of blockbusters they’ll be seeing from us” remarked a FB spokesperson who wished to remain anonymous. “With the resources available to the studio, I expect to see some record-breaking weeks.”
Of great interest is the proposed return of Green Lantern to the big screen. Word has it that Kris Greet, after his production of Superman: Genesis, will begin work on Green Lantern: The Musical. Have the Flips run out of plot ideas for the ring-bearing hero?
“On the contrary,” the FB rep stated. “Marketing studies have shown that movie fans are wanting to see three things: Cute animals, especially puppies; superheroes; and big music numbers. With Green Lantern: The Musical, we have two of those covered. And if we can figure out a way to put in a cute puppy, it’ll be there.”
The initial plot finds Green Lantern and Wonder Woman teaming up to fight their greatest foe ever. When finding it difficult to overcome their enemy, they send a plea to a third hero. Will they succeed?
“I’m pretty confident that the good guys will win” concluded the spokesperson. “The movie viewers will win with top-notch entertainment and the studio will win with a good showing at the box office. It’s a win-win-win situation.”
No proposed date for Green Lantern: The Musical has been set, nor the cast. Details will be provided once they are known.
