Character Leaked for New Superman Film
According to recent word from Ritchie Steven, co-operator of Flip Brothers Studio with brother PJ Flip, “A big DC Universe bad guy will be featured in the new Superman flick, but he is in a very different role.” When pressed for details, RS provided the following picture:
According to the www.supermanhomepage.com on Vandal Savage, “He is one of the world’s most evilest men, and truly one of the few super villains to battle a who’s who of super heroes. Vandal Savage is a Cro-Magnon man, who was given immortality and enhanced intellect when he encountered a mysterious meteorite.”
What Savage will do in the new Superman movie is unknown so far, but, from the picture above, we know that veteran Superman actor Terrance Stamp will be taking on the role. Stamp has portrayed both General Zod and provided the voice of Jor-El in the Superman world, but in HTG his only roles have been in 2006’s The Prisoner and a guest role on HTG TV’s Downtown UK.
Ritchie has promised more details to the new Superman project when they become available. Superman: Genesis, a Kris Greet production released through Flip Brothers Studio, is not yet scheduled, but expected soon.
