If This Story is Twice As Accurate as One in The Carson Daily and Those Stories Are Zero Percent Accurate, Does That Mean This is Zero Percent as Well? Oh, Blasted Math. You Shall Regret Toying With My Mind!

Rumors have a habit of flying through HTG Hollywood with a force matching a typhoon. Sometimes rumors can be good… Word-of-mouth news on a product, producer or talent can get that extra buzz that will push it further into view of the city’s masses. When one producer becomes as prolific as Pedro of Baseball Mogul Productions, it’s no surprise that Pedro rumors get passed around.

The latest of these rumors is that Pedro is beginning an outline for a film homage to Tennessee William’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Yet, in pure Pedro style, the movie would feature chimps in the acting roles.

“Brilliant!” exclaimed a movie patron exiting Grand Theft Dog on Saturday. “I don’t know where he comes up with these ideas. It’s like heaven opened up and fell right into Pedro’s brain. I can’t wait to see if that comes out!”

“I don’t see why we would need that” stated another movie watcher. “We’ve already had Ninjalibrarian’s wonderful award-winning Ode to Tennessee. Why would we need another look at it, let alone one with monkeys?”

Although Pedro could not be reached for comment on Saturday, an anonymous staffer at Baseball Mogul was able to clear some things up.

“No, there’s no chimp version of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in plans for the company. We’ve got Grand Theft Dog out this weekend. Are You There God? is coming next week. White Noise is the 23rd. More films are slated soon. We really don’t have the time it takes right now to manage a bunch of crazed chimps. But, when we do, we’ll let you know.”

Grand Theft Dog, starring Parker Posey and Hank Azaria, is currently in theatres.
