Oh, I Hate It When I Lose Things. I Carry Three Sets of Keys With Me, Just In Case I Lose One. Getting Locked Out of My House or Car Would Suck. Especially My Car. It’s One of Those Specialized Gem Keys That You Can’t Get Made Locally. Only Ford Can Make Them. Eek. Keep an Eye On That One!

Before the filming of the upcoming thriller A Hitchhiker’s Labyrinth, producer Quantum decided to look at casting talents who had not worked frequently in HTG, if at all. Besides casting Val Kilmer in the lead and Tyrese Gibson to co-star, Q wanted to give a role to Saw V actor Greg Bryk. Unfortunately for the performer, a miscommunication nearly cost him the job.
“I guess it’s funny now that the filming is done” laughed Bryk over some pasta at Flip Brothers Pizza. “I had talked with Quantum about the role and it sounded pretty good. I told him to go ahead and send the contracts over. So Quantum gave a list of people he wanted for the film to Ship of Fooles Studio head Lucian. But Quantum had spelled my name Byrk on the list, not Bryk. So Lucian was scouring HTG Hollywood for someone named Greg Byrk. As far as I know, there isn’t one. Lucian was considering giving up and going for another actor when word got to me about the faux pas. I made sure to give Ship of Fooles a quick call to staighten things out. I’m sure glad I did. Shooting the movie was a great experience. Lots of things going on in it. I sure hope Quantum and Lucian consider hiring me again.”
A Hitchhiker’s Labyrinth, a Ship of Fooles release of a Raptor Inc. (Quantum) production, opens Friday.
