With only a few more days left in November, it’s time to get those entries in for the first Malibu Film Festival, hosted by the prolific Mac the Movieguy.
Word from KrisGreet Productions is that Kris will be reteaming with Green Lantern director Micahel Bay and Superman: The Man Of Steel star Colin Farrell for video game adaptation Syphon Filter. Also, the company is looking at Jude Law for a role in Superman: Genesis, to be released in 2009.
Ritchie Steven Productions has sent word that Episode 4 of this season’s Downtown is titled “Clint’s Journey” and will answer a lot of the questions of what he was doing the six months of “being dead.” Also, the producer brags, there will be a lot of pyrotechnics in the episode.
If HTG Chat conversations are accurate, 10K Cases producer Bryan Bishop and Miracle Pictures’ Marlowe are writing a cooperative film to follow up their hit An Adventure With Larry and Jon. However, in this comedic experiment, one producer is writing one page, sends it to the other producer, he writes a page, sends it back, etc. “It’s been nutty so far” claims Marlowe. “We have no set plan and our senses of humor are different. Sometimes we help each other. Sometimes we throw the other a curve. It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of this.”
