Soon after that report, an insider at the TP offices notified Happening about cast selections for the project. So far, the following people have been cast:

Marcus Torelli - James Gandolfini
Jason Moore - James Marsters
Mr. Osamu Itou - George Takei
According to the inside source, the announcement about who will be playing Captain Planet himself will be made soon.
“James Gandolfini and George Takei in a movie together?” asked a Captain Planet fan during a visit to Mega Mart’s toy department. “That hasn’t happened since Saving William Shatner 3! This is too good to be true!”
The Captain Planet movie is set for February 28.
