Sci-Fi Film Gains Director, Promises to Not Make Cast and Crew Crawl Through Five Hundred Yards of Shit-Smelling Foulness

Mark Chua of Nu/Art Films has more to brag about this week than being the owner of the Pepsiman franchise. He has found a director to his new post-apoc film The 8th Circle.
“After considering Ridley Scott, Alfonso Cuaron, the Wachowskis and Fernando Meirelles, Frank Darabont has been tapped to direct” announced the award-winning producer of 2007’s The Earth Was Bleeding.
Mark Chua has also added some cast members to the calendar date for the film: Sean Astin, Cole Hauser, Laurence Fishburne, Clive Owen, Jennifer Garner and Madison Pettis, with more to be determined. The premise of the film is that “The Rapture is over. All that remains is one lone metropolis in a desert of waste. But there’s one faction known as the Eighth Sphere who doesn’t believe they truly are the Saved. They believe salvation has yet to come and urge anyone who listens to join their colony, New Eden… Beyond the Politan Walls… In the radioactive Quarantined Zone… With the sole promise of their word.”
The Eighth Circle is scheduled for March 7.
