Haunted Offices?
by Rotor
People passing by Rotor productions offices at 6 Lee Lane may have wondered why there was absolutely no activity when A Monster in NY, Rotor’s latest blockbuster, is slowly nearing the 100 M mark and What Becomes of the Broken Hearted is released 2nd December.
Well, a minority pretends that it’s because Adam West buried MrT there and pays a hefty sum to Rotor each week for keeping the place closed. Some truly malevolent minds whisper that Rotor is having a torrid affair with the Times EIC behind closed doors. But the majority of the Club Siberia gossip is much more far-fetched: Lee Lane would be haunted! Children’s voices would be heard coming from nowhere, tables would move by themselves and blood would drip from the walls. There were talks about odors, too, but these
could be traced to the Htg town sewer system and Mayor West’s “savings”. Anyway, if the opinions diverge about the manifestations of the haunting, the Club Siberia crowd is unanimous about the cause of the haunting:
Centuries before, a Pueblo Indian village occupied the site of Htg town. One day, these peaceful Indians were slaughtered by a roving gang of Mexican outlaws. And the bodies were all dumped in a makeshift grave located
precisely at the place which is today Lee Lane. The long dead Indians would be demanding a proper burial and ceremony.
By an amusing coincidence, Rotor Productions is looking for an Indian Shaman “to work in an undisclosed future project”. If you know one, phone them. There’s a hefty reward. To conclude, if you want this writer’s opinion, none of the stories exclude the other ones. The three of them may well be true.
